For 11-year old Brooke Madden, making it to the 2012 US Olympic diving team is a clear possibility, thanks to her undeniable talent in the sport at such a young age.

USA Diving National Training Center Head Coach John Wingfield said that Madden being part of the Olympic diving team three years from now is attainable considering that the young diver is already exposed to several national and international-level events.

He said that it is nice to see a change from the usual progression of Chinese divers reaping the gold medals in this sport.

Madden will now have a chance to prove that she’s worthy of the inclusion at this week’s Junior Pan-American Games. She’s part of the 20-member contingent for the US Diving team. The competitions will take place in the City of Calgary in Canada.
